New Distress Oxide Combinations Series

Good morning Crafters!

Happy Friday! Who’s got crafty plans for the weekend? My ‘little girl’ turns 18 tomorrow so not so much time at my desk for me this weekend I’m afraid, but definitely an occasion to scrapbook later on.

Today I want to share with you a new video series that I am creating over on my YouTube channel.

I am taking a look at each of the Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Oxide colours in turn, working through alphabetically, and creating a couple of colour combinations for each.

It’s been so popular already and I would love it if you could check it out so far. We have just reached the ‘C’s so there’s now 11 videos for you to watch, with another 60 planned!

Here is the first, and the others can all be found in the playlist here https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLB-QKds9CsrVAt8faEGV4OnY0Ybqy9Rr3

Everything I use in the videos, including the ink colours and tools can be found via these links ⤵️

  1. Hi, I’m glad I found your site, mainly because you also post beginner tutorials in several fields of papercraft. I was particularly happy to find your mixed media tutorials for beginners as I struggle with the more advanced videos which don’t have vocal instructions, just music and speeded up tutorials. I have dabbled in mixed media a little and my projects have turned out pretty well, but I always wanted to ask the artists ‘why are you doing that?’ I watched one demo where the artist spent some time bronzing a metal decorative frame for the work, but by the end she had totally covered it up with many other things and it was invisible!
Thankyou for you video series of all papercrafts, and for your distress ink and oxide combos, as I am getting into colour blending and colour use on my cards.

  2. I was wondering if you ever completed your distress oxide colour combinations. I’ve only viewed 36 of them. Where can I find the others.

    • Hi! I am working through these and uploading a few a week alphabetically so more will be added very soon 😊
